Over the past few decades millions of tourists have made the trek to Machu Pichu. Unfortunately, this has damaged the area and the local government has decided to restrict the number of tourist who visitors to the site each year.
Do I think that this is a good law?
No.
I think that they should make it so you can only see it from a certain point so it causes less damage so people can still go there in the future

ReplyDeleteThis is a very special and ancient place and it would be an honour to visit here. But I can see where they are coming from in wanting to restrict the access to this site. But I think I agree with you that maybe they should just have a viewing point of the whole area.
Maybe if they stopped people from going and walking all over the area it would help to protect it from and further damage. Some people are not very respectful when they visit places like this and do tend to get a little bit silly from time to time.
Would you like to visit here? I think it is somewhere that I would like to go and I think I will add it to my list of places I want to visit. My list is getting longer and longer!!
