Haiku

In Room five we have been writing using Haiku. A Haiku is a traditional Japanese way of making a poem. If you want to make one for yourself you can see it by clicking on this link: Haiku.
The rules to making a Haiku is that you have to have five syllables on the first line and 7 on the next line then 5 again and you can't have any more than that. Here is mine.

  1. HI Blake, your haiku gives a neat picture of autumn, and I especially like your last line which hints at cold weather. Well done!

  3. Hi Blake, Deakyn here from Awahono School. I really enjoyed reading your poem. I would love to see more poems on your blog. Will you be able to post some more? I checked your poem over at least five times and didn't spot any mistakes. I also counted the syllables in each one and didn't spot a single thing that was wrong. I hope you will be able to visit my blog too.
    Kind Regards
    Deakyn
