My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.
I really enjoyed this activity as I love poetry and writing Haikus for my friends, I usually write a Haiku in their birthday cards!
I thought your haiku summed up a New Zealand summer pretty well, hot chips, lollies and ice cream at the beach sounds like the best kind of summer day. I like that you used a background that relates to your haiku as well.
I found your post a little hard to read as the words were so little so maybe next time you could make the text larger, other than that you did a great job!
Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
Hi Blake. Cool blog post I take it that you got inspirerd from the christmas carrols we did this year at school.:) Any way maby next time you could make the Haiku a bit bigger because it is quite small.
Fiona here from the SLJ team. I hope you are having a great time over the summer holidays! I really like your haiku poem - especially because I love hot chips on the beach... yum!
I think my favourite activities from last week were the ‘Building a Dam’ and the ‘Secret Code’ tasks. Yesterday Nanogirl posted another awesome activity, all about building supercolumns!
