Should Women Be Allowed To Vote?
Yes I think that they should be allowed to vote because otherwise it is not fair. Why should only one gender be allowed to vote maybe a woman has better reasons for what they are voting about. Maybe they could be voting about who will be Governor. Maybe they are talking about building a house or a shop and the man makes a decision that they could build a million dollar skyscraper and the woman suggested that they could build a shop that they needed like say they didn't have a farmers shop and the woman suggested that they build it. If everyone in the population has a chance to vote it makes it harder for a bad decision to get voted in. So in my opinion I think that women should be allowed to vote!

Netball Court
In room five we had to measure the width, length and the perimeter of our netball court. We were learning measuring. We were told to get a buddy unfortunately I had no buddy to work with which made it way more harder for me to make this. I have made a Google drawing with my working out on it.

Pet Day
Last week we had a pet day and we made a slideshow about it. I made it with Miro and we made this pretty easily. All we had to do was write a couple of words and then all we had to do was add pictures and that is pretty much it. Here it is.

Stop Motion Animation
A few weeks ago we joined with Room Two. We made a stop motion animation (SMA). we had to work in groups of two. There were a lot of them but they were all different and about different things like a league game and a forest like my one. There were more but I can't remember. It was hard making this because everyone was talking and I couldn't think of what to make but then I thought of an idea and then I made my stop motion animation. it took a long time to make it.

Discussion
I have been learning about writing a discussion.
I have included:- a title, connectives, a conclusion that recommends one view over the other.
Should we be allowed to have a class pet?
Many people question class’s who have pets asking is caring for pets many are unhealthy and interfere with learning.
I will discuss points for and against having a class pet.
Primarily, class pets teach children to be responsible adults. Pets such as dogs, cats, fish take a lot care because their special food.
Furthermore, having a class pet is a great way to learn budgeting. As children learn how to feed and take care of a pet, it can improve their maths skills because children would learn to know how much to feed them and understand measurements and numbers and money.
However, class pets may be unhealthy because as some children may have allergies. Some people may not like their smell and may become sick.
Lastly but by no means least, class pets may become aggressive and may bite because they are kept inside all day.
In conclusion, I definitely believe that children should be allowed to have class pets because they teach children how to take care and to be gentle towards other animals and keep them healthy.

Starting School
IALA recounts.
I have been working hard to support my ideas with detail.
I have been working hard to support my ideas with detail.
Starting School in 2017.
When I hopped off the bus I was so excited to start a new year at Paparoa Range School in 2017. I was really glad to see my friends again and to see my teacher as well. I heard chatter everywhere.
As soon as I walked in the school gates I saw buildings trapping the playground as well as the field. there were lots of rooms and a big slab of concrete. Included in the buildings was an office and six classrooms.
When I saw the swimming pool it made me want to go swimming again. I had not been swimming for ages because I had not been for all my holidays.
As soon as I stepped into Rum Whā I saw little desks and a massive activeboard.
When I put my foot on the playground I saw a big flat platform that was soft and blue with all sorts of equipment to play on like slides, bridges, climbing walls, monkey bars, flying fox and a firemans pole.
