  1. Hello Blake,

I'm Evelyn and I will be working with the Summer Learning Journey team for 2018-2019 to read and follow amazing blog posts like yours! I am so excited to read what pops into that wonderful brain of yours and hope you have fun on this journey!

Those are some interesting facts about New Zealand! I have lived here more whole life and had no idea about fact number 3 so thank you for telling me a bit more about our country, well done Blake! You are absolutely correct, the official languages of our country is English and Maori but there is one more, do you think you could find out what our third official language is? I actually wish I could learn our third official language but I can only speak English and Mandarin. What languages do you speak or wish to learn? Thankfully there are no snakes in New Zealand, I don't think I would be able to sleep at night if we had snakes roaming around! I don't particularly like snakes and would be very scared if I met one. You can find snakes at the zoo though, have you ever seen them? Are you scared of any animals? It's good that New Zealand doesn't have many dangerous animals at all. We're very lucky to call this place home.

    Happy blogging,
    Evelyn :D
