The Perfect Day

I am learning to make my writing more interesting for the reader.

I know I will be able to do this when I add more detail, interesting words and include what I see, hear, smell and feel.

The Perfect Day

It was  8:30am,  we were getting ready to go to daycare in Dobson. I was spending the day there with my sister Raine.
We walked to the door Mum knocked before she opened the door. The first thing I noticed was Bronie. She was dropping Tamsin off for the day.
I looked around and I heard her say. “ Do you want to help me clean the school?”
I said” Yes, yes, yes.”
I knew that this was going to be a perfect day.

Before we left Bronie she said. "I’ve got to go to the bank before we go to the school do you want to come with me to the bank or stay here?"
I replied. " No, I will stay here until you come back. Then when you come back we will go."
I waited for Bronie to return. She did and we headed to school.

When we got to school Bronie said. "First, you will go and get a hose." So I went to get the hose from the swimming pool. While I was using the hose it made a swwwiiishhhhh noise. The next was a quick trip to the shop.

When we got to the shop Bronnie said. "What do you want?" So I looked around and I saw a little box of wedgies and I said. "I want them."
She paid for them and I heard her say. " You have a big job ahead and when you have finished it, I will buy you a packet of lollies to eat whenever you want."

We went back to the school, Savannah was there and she offered to help me clean the back of the school. I was pleased. I said. "Yes."
Off we went and worked on our job. When we had finished Savannah left and I went back to see my sister.

This was the perfect day.
