Taonga


     



We have been learning to make connections to the people and places that are important to us.

IMG_3640.JPGMy Taonga is a greenstone.
I have chosen my Taonga because it reminds me of my father who gave it to me when I moved to Nelson Creek and it reminds me of him.


The place I am connected to is Coromandel because I was born there and it’s my home town.




       








I have been able to make connections to my father because we are both connected to pig hunting because he found the greenstone when I was hunting with him. I can connect to Connor.

    I know you have a strong connection with your family in Nelson Creek Blake. it is good to see the connection you have made between your toanga, Coromandel and your father.
