Alliteration Poem

In room five we have been writing an alliteration poem. Our goal was to write a poem using as many "m" words as we can. Here is mine.

Mickey Mouse mounted a motorbike

and rode to Mcdonalds.

He ordered a Big Mac, he munched and crunched

until it was time to go get his moustache shaved.

While he was marching.

He was on his phone

playing monster legends.

He wasn’t looking at the road

and marched into a mysterious maze.

The maze had a sign on the side of it

that said "mushrooms caution if eaten may cause deadly side effects

you have been warned!"

It had mushrooms on it and a magpie guarded it.

The mushrooms were so called magical.

Mickey Mouse moved into the maze

and straight away

found a mushroom.

He took it

and ran out of the maze to his mansion.

"This is going to be marvellous!" murmured Mickey Mouse.

He cooked the mushroom and swallowed it whole.

He turned into a manikin.

"Macaroni and cheese!" screamed

Mickey Mouse.

He took a mountain bike

and a mug.

He was becoming a maniac motoring towards town.

In Room five we have been writing about Paul Beavis. Paul Beavis is an author/illustrator who has written two books and illustrated seven books. He came too our school and we were able to ask him questions about his life and what inspired him to become an author.

In room five this term we have been writing poetry and so far we have written two different poems. For this poem we were told to pick a colour and Deakyn and I chose black, here is our poem.

What Is Black?

Could black be batman?

Or could it be a ninja?

Maybe a shadow

Of a ginger ninja,

Blacker than the night sky

Would you like to say hi

Or will it be a good-bye

Blacker than a bright light

Blacker than a funeral

Blackberries are black

Black like a black blanket

Black basketballs that bounce high,

And black soccer balls with a black and

yellow pattern on them

Blacker than a black cat

Blacker than a trampoline mat

A Black cave

A black hole

A big black Thunder cloud

Dropping black raindrops,

Black as a bat

Or a piece of coal for

The naughty children

Screaming in the blackout of movie theatre

Angles

This term in room five we have been learning angles. So far we have learnt what an acute angle is and a right angle and an obtuse angle and a straight angle also a reflex angle. Here is Deakyn and I's Screencastify on angles. 

Descriptive Sentence

We were given a task to do during the holidays which was to find a descriptive sentence in a book that we read in the holidays. I read Diary Of a Wimpy Kid Old School here is the sentence I found.
