Franz Josef

 Last week as our substitute for our school camp getting canceled we went to Franz Josef and went on the helicopter i have made a drawing of it. here it is.

tree house

 Today in class I have been working on a model of a tree house but I don't have a tree and its basically just a house. we had to do some writing about what we would put in our dream tree house and then have a buddy try to replicate it, i didn't have a buddy so i just copied off my own writing.

What my dream tree house would have. 

In my dream house i would have a dedicated gaming room where i have a expensive gaming pc and every single console ever and the fastest wifi that i can possibly get i would also get a sim racing setup so i can race realistictly. The next thing i would get is a expensive kictchen where i can cook gourmet food and i would have a massive fridge. I would have a very flash bed with an expensive tv.

 In Class we had a competition about what house or car Miss Wilson should buy. I chose car and my car of choice was a Holden Captiva. We had to make it in advertisement format. Here it is.

Minecraft Ahaura

This week in class I have been working on Minecraft to make Ahaura. I was making it with Angus, Fredrick and Lachlan. We made the shop, the roads, a house, and the hall. Here are some photos.

Maths Poster

This week in class we were set the challenge of creating a poster about and aspect of maths we are confident in. I have worked on and off on this maths poster all week its for addition and makes it alot easier because it contains step by step help on how to do it correctly.

School Camp At Living Springs

 Last week Room 6 went on a class camp to Living Springs. It was pretty fun. I've made a slideshow explaining what we did.

How to make butter

 first you get cream and put it in a sealed jar.

then you shake it until there is a glob of yellow butter and some cream

now you can choose to put salt in it

then eat it on toast 

Statistics

In room 6 we have been learning about statistics. Our task was to make a graph. I made mine about favourite motorbike brands I surveyed room six and here are my results. The colors are coordinated and so Honda is red, Yamaha is blue, Kawasaki is green, Suzuki is yellow and KTM is orange. I learnt the Honda is the favourite motorbike brand. 

Letter To Future Self

Recently in class we wrote a letter to future self. We had to write the things that we like and the things that we don't like, what activities we like to do, who our friends are and so on. We are going to read them again at the end of the year.

Last Post Of The Summer Learning Journey :(

This is the last post of the summer learning Journey and we were asked to reflect on our favourite post, least favourite post, three things we learned whilst doing the summer learning journey and what changes/improvements we would do to next years summer learning journey.

1. My favourite post was the first post I did about the 10 things I would take on a canoe trip because I got to ask my parents what they would take and research what I would need.

2.My least favourite post was the movie one where you have to make your own movie.

3.I learnt that Serena Williams and Venus Williams are sisters. I can't think of anything else I learnt

4. Next year I would make it so all of the youtube videos are there on the activity because some of the links don't work.
